Friday

We all had a pretty good day. I took Andrew Henning the the young Foody out to the farm to intoducy them to disc golf. While we were there Tillie had some play time with her mom and brother. I think that she might sleep for the next two days.

While we played Jerry and Joe worked with Mrs. C in the yard. Jerry is attempting to put in another pond or two. I helped him last time and it was pretty interesting...we must have put the ponds in and out 10 times trying to get them level. Just so you know they are not level to this day and still leak...

While we were all busy at the farm Katy met Grandma for lunch at Kennywood. This was Negley's first visit to the park and she seemed to like it. She had her picture taken with Kenny and met everyone in the park.

Catching Up

We went up to New York to see G&G Samuels Sunday and we found out that Negley is a great traveler. She slept all the way to Jamestown from Pittsburgh. Before we left for the trip we particiapted in a 5k AIDS walk. At three weeks Negley has become a social activist. We are so proud of her.

Tillie also enjoyed the trip execpt for the fact that Negley's carseat only leaves her with about 1/3 of the back seat. She is used to having the whole thing and for most of the way up and back she slept standing up. She also had fun chasing Teddy around non-stop.

Road Trip

We decided to drive up and see Grandma and Grandpa Samuels. Negley was awesome in the car. In fact all day she was a rockstar. We did a 5k AIDS walk and she slept in her stroller the whole time. I'll post some pictures when we get home tomorrow.

Slepping Beauty

We had a great night of sleep last night. Negley slept for about 6 hours. I could not beleive it when I got up. I thought for sure that I had slept right through Katy feeding her in the middle of the night. We have the greatest baby in the world....

Happy Monday

After a two week quarantine ML has been cleared by the CDC for baby visits. She made up for lost visiting time by cleaning around the house for a few house. Thanks so much it really made KT happy to feel like something got done around the house.

I had the day off and got to just hang out with the girls and do a few things around the house. Among the chores that I did today was to install some gutter covers so that the leaves won't clog them up again. Hopefully I'll never have to clean them out again.

We are setteling in for another evening of feedings and tv. We were bummed to find out that vegas is a repeat. I guess that we will just have to rent a movie.

Saturday

Katy had an interview this moring at 8:15 which lasted all of 10 minutes. The Pittsburgh public School system is so wierd. The rest of the day we just hung out and watched the rain.

I tried to get a little sleep after my first sleepless night with Negely. I aslo spent some time working on the thirds flood and my sermon for tomorrow. Tonight there is a concert at the Henning House with should be over by 10. I'm hoping to get some more sleep tonight.

Thursday

I spent the day at work and Katy wa home with Negley. In the evening I took Katy to Westinghouse for the sports banquet and then went to ML's. After the banquet I got to bring Negley to the school to show her off. Katy really misses the House, but it was fun to see everyone. I forgot the camera or else I would have posted some pics for you...

Tuesday

We had several exciting things happen today. Negley went to the Dr. and is now 7# 11OZ and gaining. Katy then took her to Taget for the first time and bought the niffty baby carrier you see below. It works like a charm. I headed back to work today, which was good, but I really missed my girls...

One Week Old

We celebrated Negley's one week birthday by taking a trip to The Home Depot. Things are pretty exciting around here.

Guero

Late last night I downloade the newest Beck album, Guero -- don't miss it.

Mothers Day

Our first mother's day was pretty uneventful, but special nevertheless. We all sat around and enjoyed the nice weather for most of the day. Then we had a visit from ML (who is very sick). After that we watched "National Treasure" and crashed...
